Island Tour
The Princes' Islands are popular spots for one-day visits or for residing in a summer house. Motorized transportation being prohibited on the islands, horse carriages are used. City boats departing from Sirkeci and Bostanci and sea buses from Kabatas and Bostanci serve the islands. The Bosphorus, 33 kilometers in length, connects two continents and two seas. Its narrowest point is between Rumeli and Anadolu fortresses (698 meters).
